Monologues & Momentum

Monologues are the key ingredient in showcasing your ability to tell a story.  They reveal how committed you can be to your own imagination and the given circumstances.  While many casting directors have moved away from requesting monologues-it is not unheard of to be asked for one...and you do not want to be caught lacking!

In this class you will be reminded of the ABC's of selecting good material, how to structure this piece to work for you and your type, and also how to record it in your home studio for in-class feedback.

In this online studio setting we will start each class with a brief tutorial-reinforcing the elemental components of compelling storytelling-before preceding to the work.

Life and learning is about process and you are encouraged to develop content that will challenge you and bring about growth.
